FAQ
How does billing work?
Paid plans are billed monthly by card through Stripe. Upgrade from this page; your plan and credits update the moment checkout completes, and you come straight back here. Invoices, receipts and your card are on the Billing page. Prices are in US dollars and are the full amount you pay — no tax is added at checkout.
What counts as a credit?
Generating a chart costs 1 credit, whatever type it turns out to be — a prompt that produces nothing is not charged. The only thing that costs more is a video: exporting a race as MP4 is 2 credits, once for that chart, however many times you re-export it. Editing, animating, and PNG and SVG exports are free. Free accounts get 5 credits a month; credits reset at the start of each billing period and unused ones don't roll over, except credits you have bought or been given, which are kept and spent once the month's allowance is gone.
Which plans can export video?
All of them. Free exports MP4 at 720p and 30fps with a watermark; Pro and Max up to 4K and 60fps with no watermark. Encoding happens in your browser, so it needs Chrome/Edge 94+, Safari 16.4+ or Firefox 130+.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Open Manage subscription on the Billing page and cancel there — you keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, then drop back to Free. No email required, no retention call.
Do you give refunds?
Yes, in the situations set out in the Refund and Cancellation Policy — including a full refund if you were charged after canceling, and if you forgot to cancel and have not used the plan that period. Consumers in the EU and UK also have a 14-day withdrawal right, explained in the same policy.
What if my card is declined?
Your plan stays active while Stripe retries the payment, and you'll see a notice in the sidebar asking you to update your card. If the retries fail the subscription lapses to Free. Anything unclear, email support@chartforce.ai.
